47. Ramar Padam temple, Rameshwaram, India

Ramar Padam means Ramas Footprint. This is the highest place on the island Rameshwaram and now here stands a small but tall shrine with one brahmin inside.

It is believed that Rama has left his footprints here when was looking to Shri Lanka which is only about 50 km from here during preparation of war with Ravana - king of Shri Lanka.

We did our prayers for happiness of everybody also from this amazing place.
