42. Athanoor Perumal Temple, Pullabhoothangudi, India

This also vaishnava tradition temple is dedicated to one of incarnation of Lord Vishnu/Krishna and surprised me with the main diety shown in a sleeping position. This was the first temple I saw like that.

We did archanas, prayers and got blessings from brahmins. This temple was very friendly and priests where explaining for half hour to us the history of this place and traditions in it.

It is believed that if this sleeping lord see a guest hugging the collon inside the temple and walking around them two times - then all wishes comes through.

We wished happiness to everybody from this incredible place. So be happy,
