61. Shiva Temple at Brahma Sarovar, Thaneshwar, India

A sacred shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva stands within the sarovar, accessible by a small bridge.

We walked around the sarovar and also went inside this small and not ancient at all but nice Shiva temple, gave our prayers dedicated to Shiva and also wished happiness to everyone from this place.

Happiness to everyone!
On Namah Shivaya

62. Jai Ram Vidya Peeth temple, Thaneshwar, India

Dedicated to Lord Rama and Krishna this Vaishnava tradition temple hosts inside of it some ancient caves which are believed to be sacred.

Inside of the temple and its territory is decorated with scenes from Mahabharatha and Kurkukshetra war. Most impressive sculpture for me was how Arjuna - to whom Krishna delivered Bhagavad Gita - killing his own grandfather Bhisma.

On the tenth day of the Kurukshetra war the Pandavas, unable to withstand Bhishma's prowess, decided to put Shikhandi, who had been a woman in a prior life in front of Bhishma, as Bhishma has taken a vow not to attack a woman. Shikhandi's arrows fell on Bhishma without hindrance. Arjuna positioned himself behind Shikhandi, protecting himself from Bhishma's attack, and aimed his arrows at the weak points in Bhishma's armour. Soon, with arrows sticking from every part of his body, the great warrior fell from his chariot. His body did not touch the ground as it was held aloft by the arrows protruding from his body.

We did our prayers and wished happiness to everyone also from this temple.
Be Happy!
Hare Krishna

63. Sannihit Sarowar Shiva Temple, Thaneshwar, India

Sannihit Sarovar is believed to be the meeting point of seven sacred Saraswatis. The sarovar, according to popular belief, contains sacred water.

Bathing in the waters of the tank on the day of Amavasya (night of complete darkness) or on the day of an eclipse bestows blessings equivalent to performing the ashvamedh yajna.

Sannihit Sarovar is believed to be the abode of Lord Vishnu.

We did our prayers and wished happiness to everyone from the Shiva temple nearby it.

Be Happy!
Om Namah Shivaya

64. Shri Laxmi Naryan Temple, Thaneshwar, India

This temple is 550 years old and has witnessed many changes of Kurkukshetra. Now its renowated and kept by some local family by donations.

Inside of it is a Laxmi Naryan murti which is a name of The Supreme Personality of Godhead in the Hindu religion. It is usually referring to Vishnu (Krishna, Rama, Buddha), also known as Narayan, when he is with his consort Lakshmi, in the Karana Ocean.

We did our prayers and wished happiness to everyone from this amazing place.

Wishing pure happiness to you,
Hare Krishna

65. Deva Temple, Thaneshwar (Kurukshetra), India

This is one of those rare temples where almost everyone is welcomed who believes in God especially religious people whose believe system comes out from Hinduism.

Inside of it are many texts on marble plates from Vedas and some stories about Vedic Gods. The main god of the temple is Krishna and also special attention is on Hanuman.

We did our prayers here and wished happiness to everyone from this sacred place of Kurukshetra.

Hare Krishna!
